The Panhellenic Federation of Florida was founded in 1990 in Tampa Bay by a group of presidents of local associations with the sole purpose of preserving the Greek heritage by supporting cultural and educational initiatives throughout the state of Florida. Mr. Michael Servos, Mr. Peter Leventis, and Mr. Dinos Michalopoulos laid a strong foundation for future generations to build upon. Today, the Panhellenic Federation respects the founding principles and looks forward to new challenges.
Culture: Over the years, the Panhellenic Federation of Florida has supported theater school plays, dancing performances, and musical events.
Education: The Panhellenic Federation of Florida continues supporting the Greek Schools of the Tampa Bay Area by providing books and supplies and by giving scholarships to students who excel in their studies of the Greek language. It also awards honoraria to teachers of the Greek "afternoon " schools.
